I'm Bill from TrekConvention dot com, and welcome to the TrekHeadlines five to Watch. The podcast where I highlight five Trek Headlines you may have missed.

It's Friday September 30th, 2024 - So, let's get to it.

Number One:
Trek Movie announced that Section 31 and Lower Decks are Headlining the, New York Comic Con Star Trek Universe, Panel. - And I'm really hoping, with LA ComicCon just a week or two away, there's a similar panel for the west coasters.

Number Two:
Further proof that the Internet loves list - Red Shirts Always Die features, Ranking the cast of Star Trek The Next Generation based on the amount of episodes they appeared in. And I think you'll agree it's not what you might have thought.

Number Three:
While it's been a long road getting from there, to here. Screen Rant points out that "Enterprise Breaking A Star Trek Rule Within Its First 3 Minutes Was Shocking For Its Time." Personally - I'm oover the shock.

Number Four:
On the topic of Enterprise. Red shirts always die points out that showrunner "Brannon Braga thinks Star Trek Enterprise could have been more violent.' And while I concur the Enterprise should have been more, - something, I'm not sure violence would have helped.

And finally, Number Five:
It was a week of anniversaries! This week marked the 48th anniversary of the christening of the first U.S. Space Shuttle, "Enterprise," - back in 1976.And today marks the fourth anniversary of the first TrekConvention podcast. While the former is more momentous than the latter, we're still pretty excited.
