I'm Eleanor Brittany, and welcome to the August 9, 2024 post-Las Vegas convention edition of The TrekConvention Podcast's Five Trek Headlines to Watch. The TrekConvention podcast where I highlight five Trek Headlines you may have missed.

So, let's get to it!

Number One:
If you missed out on seeing Star Trek Prodigy season 2 on Netflix, you've got a second chance, TrekMovie reports from San Diego ComicCon that ‘Star Trek Prodigy season two is Coming To video on demand Monday and Blu-Ray In November.' So dig out your disc player, pour yourself a warm mug of Raktajino and settle in for a watch party.

Number Two:
Also from San Diego ComicCon, Pink Villa has All the Movie and TV Trailers Revealed So Far From Superman To Star Trek. And let me say the Trek future looks very bright.

Number Three:
What we left behind was an outstanding episode and great television. But HandiTV asks HOW WELL DO YOU REMEMBER THE STAR TREK DEEP SPACE NINE FINALE?" And if you're like me, you'll be surprised how much you've forgotten.

Number Four:
HandiTV also spills the beans on who was to have been the first Captain of the Enterprise D. Their article THE ORIGINAL CONCEPT FOR STARTREK THE NEXT GENERATION FEATURED A VULCAN CAPTAIN is well worth a read.

And finally, Number Five:
Bill our EP is sorting through hundreds of new photos from the Trek to Vegas convention. Be sure to take a look and check back often for the latest.

And that's all for this episode of the TrekConvention Podcast's 5 Trek Headlines to Watch.

You can find all these articles and the latest updates at TrekConvention.com and, of course, at TrekHeadlines.com

I'm Eleanor Brittany. Be sure to check back next week for five more to watch.
